| Our staff is looking forward to an exciting and fun filled year with your child. As a student in our school, your child will be introduced to classroom materials that will aid them in developing concentration, coordination, a sense of order, independence and academic skills.
To achieve these developmental goals, we use the philosophy set forth by Dr. Maria Montessori. We also include the philosophies of Piaget and Adler for early childhood development.
Our classrooms are equipped with all the standard Montessori materials, as well as other developmentally appropriate learning activities. These materials will guide your child in developing their sensory skills and everyday living skills. they will have the opportunity to develop skills in reading, math, science and geography. Your child will also have the opportunity to take part in our art, music, sign language and physical education programs. We strive to make our program developmentally appropriate for each child.
Our entire staff is trained in the Montessori approach of learning. Your child will have the advantage of moving at their own pace in a relaxed and caring atmosphere.
